About these terms

These terms set out the agreement between you and Crown Construction and Joinery LTD. By using our website or asking us to quote or carry out work, you agree to them. If anything is unclear, please ask us before you go ahead.

Quotes and estimates

We aim to give you a clear price before any work begins. A quote is a fixed price for the work described. An estimate is our best view of the cost and may change if the scope of the work changes or if we find something unexpected on site. We will always talk to you first.

Changes to the work

Building work sometimes uncovers surprises. If the agreed work needs to change, we will explain what is involved and agree any change in price or timing with you before carrying it out.

Payment

We agree a payment schedule with you before work starts, which may include a deposit and staged payments as the project progresses. Invoices are due within the timescale shown on them. We will always make our payment terms clear up front.

Timings

We give sensible timescales for your project and work hard to keep to them. Weather, material availability and other things outside our control can affect dates, and we will keep you informed if anything changes.

Our workmanship

We take pride in doing a good job. If you are not happy with our workmanship, please tell us as soon as possible so we can put it right. We work to recognised industry standards and stand behind the quality of our work.

Materials and products

Where products or materials are supplied with a manufacturer guarantee, that guarantee is passed on to you. We will let you know what is covered and for how long where this applies.

Access to your property

To carry out the work, we will need safe and reasonable access to the site. We will agree this with you in advance and always treat your property with care and respect.

Insurance

We hold appropriate insurance for the work we carry out. If you would like details, please ask and we will provide them.

If something goes wrong

We would much rather sort things out directly with you. If you have a concern, please contact us first and we will do our best to resolve it quickly and fairly.
